I’m down at the Games this weekend, and the news I have to report so far is the Northwest is coming in HOT. Everyone is killing it. Portland’s hometown hero is Jerome Perryman, from CF Human Evolution Labs had a pretty good start, and promises some great shows. Chris Spealler of Park City took first with an amazing time on an extremely challenging workout. CrossFit Fort Vancouver’s affliate team is currently sitting in FIRST PLACE. More updates and hopefully some pictures if I can remember to take some to come.

Hey Everyone,
Summer hours are officially underway now. That means ALL you FOLKS that insisted on 6:30AM, 6:30PM, and even 7:30PM classes… you got em! So I hope to see you in those classes this week! After 2 weeks of this schedule, we’ll re-evaluate and cut 3-5 classes. The ones least-attended. So get on in to your classes for the next two weeks to secure them for the summer!

Hey Guys!
I’m off to Calgary. Christine is steering the ship while I’m gone. Ryan is helping out some, and will hopefully be back to coaching some nights for us soon. He is getting situated in the new job in PDX and will hopefully be able start helping again now that SUMMER HOURS are coming! Theres a few things to note about the survey.. Please, pipe up ASAP if the upcoming changes are going to pose a severe problem for you. We are going to dial the noon and 4:30 classes way back, and dial UP some 6:30am and 6:30pm action for you all. This seems to be what a large majority of you want. A few have requested 7:30pm. I’m skeptical about how many folks are going to make that late of a time a regular time they come, so I’m going to pilot 1 or 2 and see how popular they are. I think there will still be a couple noon classes and a couple 4:30.. Also.. mobility class is in the works. This should be happening in the next week or two.
We’ve re-installed the community board, so watch it for announcements and current schedule. Its by the entry door. I’ll ask for ideas and such there from here on out.
I’ve had several requests to post the workouts earlier, and several to not post it at all. So my response is… I’ll continue to post them, and if you find knowing the workout de-motivating, consider not looking at it, and just come and find out in class..
Here’s the survey

Hey everyone, summer is upon us and I am working on a new SUMMER SCHEDULE. I want to hear from you. Please get yourself in summertime mode, and choose carefully. Don’t choose everything! We need to, of course, be as efficient as possible and have classes that we know folks will be attending. We’re looking into an early morning class, and a later evening one. I know you want to play in the sun while the sun’s shining and do your hard work when its not full heat. Do you think you’ll come Saturdays? What about Wednesdays. Wednesdays are famously slow, so we just want to see what you know about your schedule. Tell us as much as you can. If I didn’t ask you something you can share, write it in the notes. Let us know what kind of other classes you may find interesting. I gave you a few ideas. Thanks so much, and thanks for a fun week, you’re all working real hard over here.
